Laserline will be presenting innovative optics solutions for industrial laser cladding at formnext 2025. The focus will be on a newly developed 30 kW zoom optic for flexible cladding processes, a new specialized optic for wear and corrosion protection coatings on internal geometries, and blue high brightness lasers for the additive manufacturing of non-ferrous metal components using laser-based powder bed processes.

However, questions of load securing are not always accorded the appropriate importance – lashing points in particular often provide grounds for criticism. A joint project of Goldhofer AG, Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG and RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG illustrates what a secure lashing solution should really look like. The construction and logistics company Max Wild GmbH is already using these vehicles.

Co. KG, and construction and logistics company Max Wild GmbH. A model project, first presented at bauma 2025, demonstrated how this may be achieved and will continue to serve as an example in the future.

Laserline will present a wide range of its diode lasers at Schweißen & Schneiden 2025. In addition to the new Blue High Brightness Laser for welding ultra-thin sheet metal structures, the focus will also be on solutions enabling more sustainable and efficient processing.

Aalen, July 2024 – Digital advice on lifting loads – that’s what the new BUDDYtron app from RUD has to offer. The tool assists you with the choice, assembly, visual inspection and repair of lifting means and lifting points and helps to make lifting processes safer and more efficient. The key component of the app is an extensive database, which, in addition to detailed information on all RUD products, also bundles numerous assembly and test instructions as well as valuable practical tips in the form of texts, images and videos.

Diode laser specialist Laserline will be presenting sustainable solutions for the coating of wind turbine bearing bolts and brake discs as well as the additive manufacturing of copper components at formnext 2023. Improvements in energy and material efficiency are just as much in focus as environmental and climate protection as well as resource conservation through reduced process footprint. Interested parties will find Laserline in Hall 12.0, Booth E19.

In order to counteract the health hazards posed by particulate matter, the EU has for the first time also included dust from braking systems within the new vehicle emission standard, Euro 7. Diode-laser-clad hard coatings enable reliable compliance with all specifications, reducing brake dust with a maximum particle size of PM10 by up to 90 percent. The series-ready cladding process developed by Laserline enables cost-sensitive mass production for all market segments.

With the LDMblue high-power diode lasers, Laserline presents the world’s first blue diode lasers with cw output power of up to 1 kW at 450 nm wavelength. As the first industry lasers, the new LDMblue lasers allow for a controlled heat conduction welding of highly reflexive non-ferrous metals such as copper or gold. They are available in standard configurations with 1000, 500 or 300 W output power.

Aalen, September 2024 – RUD expands its portfolio of lifting points: in addition to boltable and weldable models, the Aalen-based company now also offers a pluggable lifting point for the first time with the PIP-RAPIDO. Designed specifically for installation in through and undercut holes, it has a self-locking attachment mechanism that makes installation much easier and many times faster than with conventional lifting points.

Laserline has optimized its portfolio in the high-power blue diode laser segment. In doing so, the company is making important advances in focusing properties. This is because with output powers of up to 800 watts blue lasers will be available with 20 mm-mrad beam quality, while lasers with output powers of up to 1,500 watts will be available with 30 mm-mrad beam quality. These improvements simplify the joining of thin copper contacts as well as welding with scanner optics.

Aalen, August 2024 – This year, RUD’s appearance at AMB (10 to 14 September in Stuttgart, Hall 8, Stand 8C20) will focus on efficient lifting technology solutions for the metalworking industry. The German company is going to present its broad portfolio of lifting means for the entire value chain in the tool and mould making, mechanical engineering and plant construction industries. The pluggable lifting point PIP-RAPIDO and the clickable shackle CCS-FASTLOX will take centre stage, two new products that significantly simplify and speed up the lifting of loads thanks to an innovative functional principle.
