Mülheim-Kärlich, Germany, 30.04.2019 – Laserline, the international leading developer and manufacturer of diode lasers for industrial material processing, will present at the Laser World of Photonics 2019 (24th to 27th June in Munich, Germany; hall 3, booth 303) further developments of its proven LDF and LDM laser systems. The highlight of the exhibition presentation is the LDMblue 1000-100 — the world’s first blue diode laser with 1 kW cw output power. It works with a wavelength of 450 nm and is designed as a compact 19″ rack mount module, which makes integration into industrial production plants easy. As the first industry laser of its kind, it allows for a controlled heat conduction welding of non-ferrous metals like copper or gold, thereby opening up inter alia new manufacturing options in the field of electrical contacting.
A further emphasis of the Laserline exhibition presentation are new infrared lasers with extended multi kilowatt power. A prominent example of this is the LDM 8000-100. With 8 kW laser power in only a 7 HE big 19″ rack mount system, it represents a novelty in the class of compact high-power diode lasers. Now, LDF diode lasers with beam converter can attain the same power range. But the new LDF 8000-8 combines 8 kW output power with excellent 8 mm·mrad beam quality, and thus offers inter alia optimal support for demanding remote welding applications.
The Laserline exhibition presentation is rounded off with exhibits from typical application areas such as welding, brazing, and cladding. Additionally, other laser systems with significant power surges will also be shown.
