The globally operating, family-owned company is unwavering in its commitment to promoting its home region through continued sponsorship of sport. “We have been internationally established for a long time and are represented on all continents, but we remain rooted in the Ostalb and want to continue to make a contribution to the region,” states RUD Head of Marketing Jürgen Grubmüller. “It makes sense for RUD to continue to support the region’s sporting flagship in the new season. This also promotes the attractiveness of a recognised high-tech industrial region full of hidden champions.”
However, RUD feels connected to the UEFA Conference League participant not only because of their common regional roots, as Grubmüller emphasises. In fact, obvious parallels can also be drawn in other areas. “Both partners are committed to patient, consistent and competent growth in their respective fields. They are dedicated to targeted promotion of talent while highly valuing experience, and they are also committed to maintaining a high degree of financial solidity. The RUD Head of Marketing is certain that they have one fundamental thing in common: As an internationally operating family business, we know that strong cohesion across all borders is essential – and there is no better unifier than football, which brings people of all ages, genders and backgrounds together. The last European Championships once again proved this beyond doubt.”
Sponsoring was a complete success for both sides
For RUD, the best part of this sponsorship partnership is that it’s not all work and no play. For customers, suppliers and technology partners of the company from the Friedensinsel in Aalen, the Sparkassen Business Club in the Voith Arena in Heidenheim was always the highlight of the season. It was the perfect opportunity to cultivate contacts away from sterile meeting rooms and enjoy a more informal networking environment. Naturally, the company’s own employees were not overlooked. During the previous season, tickets for several home games were raffled off among RUD football fans. A visit to the stadium as part of the team was then a given. With a view to the coming season, the offers for partners and employees will be further expanded as part of the sponsorship.
The first joint Bundesliga season has been a resounding success. The number of matches, promotional campaigns and sponsor events have all contributed to an unreservedly positive preliminary conclusion, not only at RUD but also at the first division club on the Brenz. “We are very proud to have RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG by our side as our partner. Our first year of collaboration has been a great success, and we are pleased to announce that we will continue this partnership in the 2024/25 season. We look forward to many more exciting moments and successes together with RUD”, says Thomas Schreitt, FCH’s Head of Sales, about the partnership.
