Transporting earth-moving machinery to the job site by heavy goods vehicle is part of the routine in many building projects. However, questions of load securing are not always accorded the appropriate importance – lashing points in particular often provide grounds for criticism. A joint project of Goldhofer AG, Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG and RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG illustrates what a secure lashing solution should really look like. The construction and logistics company Max Wild GmbH is already using these vehicles.

Aalen, September 2025 – Better safety when transporting earth-moving equipment through standard-compliant lashing – this is the joint goal of vehicle manufacturers Goldhofer AG and Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG, sling and lashing equipment specialist RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG, and construction and logistics company Max Wild GmbH. A model project, first presented at bauma 2025, demonstrated how this may be achieved and will continue to serve as an example in the future.

Laserline will present a wide range of its diode lasers at Schweißen & Schneiden 2025. In addition to the new Blue High Brightness Laser for welding ultra-thin sheet metal structures, the focus will also be on solutions enabling more sustainable and efficient processing.

Aalen, July 2025 – The theme of the RUD booth at EMO (22 – 26 September in Hanover, Hall 013, Booth E11) will be efficient lifting technology solutions for the whole of the metalworking industry’s value chain – from raw materials logistics to production and delivery. Highly efficient laser solutions for industrial material processing in the battery and e-mobility sector - this is the focus of Laserline's presence at the Battery Show Europe 2024. The main topics include new high-efficiency diode lasers for economical and environmentally friendly battery drying and blue diode lasers for the effective processing of copper components for electric drive technology and power electronics.

The IDEEL research project, supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of the Battery 2020 funding program, aims to launch a laser drying process for a more climate-friendly and economical series production of lithium-ion batteries. The results will be incorporated into the Fraunhofer Research Fab Battery Cells (Forschungsfertigung Batteriezelle) in Münster, Germany, which will enable users from both industry and research to test and optimize the series production of new batteries.

Diode laser specialist Laserline will present at the Blechexpo / Schweisstec 2019 an infrared-blue hybrid concept for copper keyhole welding and possible solutions for heat conduction welding of thin non-ferrous metal components. Also on board are infrared lasers for welding steel sheets, different processing optics, and exhibits from industrial practice.

Brussels, March 5, 2025 – UniversalAutomation.org (UAO) has reached another milestone: Founded in late 2021 by nine companies, the independent non-profit organization, which uses its technology to promote a vendor-independent automation approach, today has more than 100 members.

Diode laser specialist Laserline is expanding its management team to optimally position itself for further growth. Dr. Claus Narr became the company's third managing director on January 1, 2025. Dr. Narr, who holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering, can already look back on more than 13 successful years at the company and will now manage Laserline together with the founders Dr. Christoph Ullmann and Volker Krause.

At the Laser World of Photonics in Munich, Laserline showcases new LDF and LDM diode laser systems with increased output powers. Furthermore, as a highlight of the exhibition presentation, the first blue diode laser with a cw output power of 1 kW will be presented. Additionally, new processing optics and exhibits from diverse application areas will also be on display.
