Laserline will be presenting innovative optics solutions for industrial laser cladding at formnext 2025. The focus will be on a newly developed 30 kW zoom optic for flexible cladding processes, a new specialized optic for wear and corrosion protection coatings on internal geometries, and blue high brightness lasers for the additive manufacturing of non-ferrous metal components using laser-based powder bed processes.

Transporting earth-moving machinery to the job site by heavy goods vehicle is part of the routine in many building projects. However, questions of load securing are not always accorded the appropriate importance – lashing points in particular often provide grounds for criticism. A joint project of Goldhofer AG, Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG and RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG illustrates what a secure lashing solution should really look like. The construction and logistics company Max Wild GmbH is already using these vehicles.

Aalen, September 2025 – Better safety when transporting earth-moving equipment through standard-compliant lashing – this is the joint goal of vehicle manufacturers Goldhofer AG and Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeug AG, sling and lashing equipment specialist RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG, and construction and logistics company Max Wild GmbH. A model project, first presented at bauma 2025, demonstrated how this may be achieved and will continue to serve as an example in the future.

Laserline will present a wide range of its diode lasers at Schweißen & Schneiden 2025. In addition to the new Blue High Brightness Laser for welding ultra-thin sheet metal structures, the focus will also be on solutions enabling more sustainable and efficient processing.

Aalen, August 2025 – At SPE Offshore Europe (2 to 5 September, Aberdeen, Scotland), RUD is going to focus on marine, offshore and subsea lifting technology solutions. Among other things, the company will present its broad portfolio of DNV-certified products for use in shallow water and the deep sea as well as on board ships, in ports and on offshore platforms. All the presented components have been developed for use under extreme conditions and meet the highest quality and safety requirements – even in changing and extreme weather conditions.

Up until now, battery electrodes have been dried primarily in gas-operated conveyor furnaces. However, a recently developed approach based on diode lasers is noticeably superior to the convective drying process and for the first time makes it possible to produce laser-dried anodes and cathodes in a roll-to-roll process. A white paper by Laserline and staff from the PEM (Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components) group at RWTH Aachen University highlights the advantages of this diode laser-based electrode drying process and outlines the path to more efficient, cost-effective and environmentally friendly battery production.

Aalen, September 2024 – RUD expands its portfolio of lifting points: in addition to boltable and weldable models, the Aalen-based company now also offers a pluggable lifting point for the first time with the PIP-RAPIDO. Designed specifically for installation in through and undercut holes, it has a self-locking attachment mechanism that makes installation much easier and many times faster than with conventional lifting points.

Highly efficient laser solutions for industrial material processing in the battery and e-mobility sector - this is the focus of Laserline's presence at the Battery Show Europe 2024. The main topics include new high-efficiency diode lasers for economical and environmentally friendly battery drying and blue diode lasers for the effective processing of copper components for electric drive technology and power electronics.

LWL-Sachsenkabel GmbH has expanded its production capacity in the field of fiber optic solutions for industry and science. Diode laser specialist Laserline is expanding its management team to optimally position itself for further growth. Dr. Claus Narr became the company's third managing director on January 1, 2025. Dr. Narr, who holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering, can already look back on more than 13 successful years at the company and will now manage Laserline together with the founders Dr. Christoph Ullmann and Volker Krause.
