Aalen, 1 September 2026 – RUD is expanding its range of tried-and-tested ACP-TURNADO lifting points to include one designed for maritime environments. The ACP-TURNADO OCEANSTAR is the first lifting point to be certified by DNV for subsea applications. It is therefore ideal for use in offshore structures, such as wind farms and drilling platforms, as well as in shipyards, subsea construction projects and the associated supply industry.

Tried-and-tested lifting and load-handling solutions for the railway industry – ranging from standardised components to fully customised load-handling devices – this is the focus of RUD and RUD+SpanSet Plauen at InnoTrans 2026 (22 to 25 September 2026, Hall 6.2b, Stand 420).

From planning and operation to service – RUD provides support to maritime lifting applications, even in the most challenging environmental conditions. The company will showcase its application and development expertise at SMM 2026 in Hamburg and will present DNV-certified lifting equipment and innovative specialised solutions, including those developed through collaborative partnerships.

With the LDMblue high-power diode lasers, Laserline presents the world’s first blue diode lasers with cw output power of up to 1 kW at 450 nm wavelength. As the first industry lasers, the new LDMblue lasers allow for a controlled heat conduction welding of highly reflexive non-ferrous metals such as copper or gold. They are available in standard configurations with 1000, 500 or 300 W output power.

Highlights of Laserline’s presence at formnext 2022 include cross-material cladding and additive manufacturing processes through application of blue lasers, and infrared-laser-based hard coatings for wear reduction in brake discs. Those interested can find us at Hall 12, Booth B19.

Aalen, June 2024 – RUD is completing its range of digital tools for the application-related composition of lifting solutions: in addition to the proven lifting means configurator, a configurator for lifting points is now also available. It can be used to quickly and easily find the right lifting points for individual customer chain suspensions and even visualise them in 3D.

LWL-Sachsenkabel GmbH will present the spectrum of its services in the field of customized cabling solutions for users in the telecommunications, data center and building sector at ANGA COM 2023 (May 23-25 in Cologne). Another highlight of the trade show appearance is the C2E high-density system. Visitors to the trade fair will find Sachsenkabel at the booth of the US parent company Amphenol Corporation in Hall 8, Booth D80.

Aalen, July 2024 – Digital advice on lifting loads – that’s what the new BUDDYtron app from RUD has to offer. The tool assists you with the choice, assembly, visual inspection and repair of lifting means and lifting points and helps to make lifting processes safer and more efficient. The key component of the app is an extensive database, which, in addition to detailed information on all RUD products, also bundles numerous assembly and test instructions as well as valuable practical tips in the form of texts, images and videos.

As part of the IDEEL research project (Implementation of Laser Drying Processes for Economical & Ecological Lithium-Ion Battery Production), project partners from industry and research are developing a laser drying process for the more climate-friendly and economical serial production of lithium-ion batteries. Now, for the first time, the process has been successfully scaled up to a coating and drying speed of 5 m/min in a continuous process, proving that industrial implementation is technically possible and economically viable.

Laserline has expanded its company presence in Pune / India towards a full subsidiary. With this, the diode laser specialist is merely reacting to growths in its business in South Asia. This seventh foreign subsidiary distributes the complete Laserline product portfolio and guarantees an optimal existing customer care by means of trained service technicians and a comprehensive spare part service.
